Infrastructure and development projects
Our advice in this practice covers specific stages of the development process, from preparation through completion: the decision to launch a project, negotiations with the local authorities on creation of the optimal conditions for the development, negotiations with the authorities of special economic zones, due diligence of the real estate, negotiations connected with acquisition of rights to the real estate, participation in administrative procedures to obtain permits and approvals necessary to carry out the project, issues of environmental protection and landmarks conservation, resolution of administrative disputes, selection of entities taking part in the project, including architectural studios, contract engineers and general contractors, support during negotiation of contractual conditions with the construction company (e.g. FIDIC), representing the interests of the investor in the case of complaints or disputes with the contractors, and participation in procedures connected with completion of the development process.
